Job Title: Business Continuity Analyst/Planner

This person provides professional, specialized skills, including business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and crisis management to ensure plan maintenance and enhancement activities, and help integration of plans across business units. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Facilitate and manage the development and maintenance of business continuity plans for the business units supported by Value Services. Provide guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of Business Continuity projects of moderate to high complexity. Sets goals, organizes, and plans across multiple organizations and projects. Provides program support to the business units on an ongoing basis.

Work with Business Continuity and other resources to support multiple aspects of the Business Continuity program. Partner with business unit coordinators to ensure resources are available for plan development and ongoing maintenance. Ensure development of business continuity planning for all elements of a business process including the emergency response, work area recovery, business process documentation, application recovery requirements.

Develop and lead periodic exercises and table top drills to ensure all aspects of the business unity recovery plans are viable and that team members are properly educated on roles and responsibilities.

Establish and maintain strong partnering relationships with business units in support of the business continuity program. Ensure a fluid and ongoing level of program coordination and communication. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with IT and business partners.

Assist in the analysis, development and maintenance of business continuity tools, templates and documents.

Perform business impact analysis on business processes, analyze data, and develop reports in which to share results to management.

Educate business partners on the structure and methods of our business continuity program. Help ensure end-to end business continuity readiness for all business functions. Design and perform end-to-end business continuity exercises for the business process and support infrastructure needs. Escalate identified risks to management.

Qualifications include:

    • 3-5 years of experience in business continuity or related fields.
    • Strong verbal/written communications. Must be able to interface and work efficiently and effectively with business units and partners in remote locations.
    • Solid knowledge of business continuity planning process, terminology and approach.
    • Trading platforms, market data feeds, applications, along with operational experience helpful.
    • Certified Business Continuity (CBCP) preferred.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
    • Solid project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the testing of crisis response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures.
    • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Project).
    • Travel and off-hour on-call support required.
    • College degree in business or technology field.
    • Knowledge and experience with eBRP is a plus.

Job Title:        IT Analyst 
The qualified candidate will support the ongoing Cargill Value Services (CVS) Business Continuity program through creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT recovery and business continuity along with management and support of the tools used by the program.

  • Assisting the CVS Business Continuity Planning team and business Partners in the development, maintenance and review of recovery plans.
  • Assisting the Business Continuity Coordinator and IT Recovery Coordinator efforts as required
  • Supporting the business and technology users of the various tools used in the Business Continuity program, through level 1 & 2 support as well as developing appropriate user education and training.
  • Responsible for the development, support and maintenance of tools specifically used to support the Business Continuity program. This includes user admin, report development, customization and integration to other Cargill applications.
  • Coordinate the further development of tools related to the Business Continuity program
Required:
·        College degree in business or technology field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
·        3 or more years experience in an IT Analyst role.
·        Proficiency in developing, design and delivering documentation deliverables
·        Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
·        Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates.
·        Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).

·        Experience with the business continuity planning process and business continuity planning software is preferred.
