Summer 2007

What a crazy summer – first, major drought, then the I-35W bridge collapse and finally flooding.  Minnesota and western Wisconsin have had its share of disasters lately.  I am afraid to ask what will happen next. 

September is National Preparedness month.  I hope all of you take this as an opportunity to educate your employees. Encourage them to look into opportunities to participate in the Citizen Corp Program.  For more information about weekly themes throughout the month, go to www.ready.gov/america/npm07/index.html.  If there is one thing I have learned over the years is that you constantly need to educate the mass.  

BCPA continues to be involved with the Secure360 conference and plan to provide a leadership track in 2008. If you are interested in being part of the Secure360 planning, please let me know.  Look for more information in the weeks ahead regarding speakers and registration (http://www.secure360.org/ ).
