Presentation Description


Alex is the author of 7 books on BCM/DR; available in physical and eBook versions: Heads in the Sand, Made Again - Practical Advice for Business Continuity Programs Volumes 1 & 2, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and Watch Your Step: The Slips, Trips, Traps and Falls of Managing Disaster Recovery Programs and Business Continuity Programs and the latest book, From Thought to Consequence. He is currently working on his 8th book.

Alex is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), earned his Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) status with the Disaster Recovery Institute, and also has his Certified Business Resiliency Auditor (CBRA) designation.

As of October 2017, Alex now hosts his own internet talk radio show on the VoiceAmerica.com radio network (Variety Channel) called "Preparing for the Unexpected" which airs every Thursday and focuses on topics related to BCM, DR, Emergency Response, Organizational Resiliency, Disaster Psychology, Crisis Management and all things relatable. The show is for BCM/DR/Resilience practitioners and currently has over 110,000 regular listeners.
